What Mark said. Guesses should be compared to actual torque and HP curves measured at the wheels, not after some post-run fudge factor is applied -even if it's a reasonable and good fudge factor!
The Spec Miatas chasing the X on track has typically 120 Bhp at the rear wheels with a race weight of 2300 pounds for a 1600cc, 16 valve engine. I'll add those spec Miatas are on R compound tires and the X is on totally wore out DOT 280 street tires and the engine was RPM limited to 6,000 - 7,000 Rpm and they are not catching this X.
The objective of this track day is to run in the engine.. and sort out other power train problems.
