X1/9 Learner's Permit...
Last item to remove before hitting the body shop is the windshield. Purchased the harbor freight windshield tool here:

Tried in the dead of winter and the sealant was too firm. Temps hit 60 degrees today so I tried again. Went much better. I used the tool from the inside and worked around the edge. Gently popped it out and cleaned things up. Photos below.
My rust issue is a bit more extreme than I had hoped but will have the body shop address it. Photos below...
In the first photo, the windshield shows some delamination near the edge in a few spots. Is this a problem or will it be ok for me to reinstall?
