I had to remove the “welded-in-place” OE 128 battery tray/bracket
to eradicate a bit of rust underneath it.
Since the OE bracket wasn’t all that good,
I decided to fabricate a bracket, and use a random batt tray from boneyard.
Think it was from Chevy pickup, cut down to Group 24 size battery.
Appears pretty simple, but figuring the angles and height took some time.
Using 1/2” square tube, it bolts to the inner fender and the frame rail.
After sandblasting it clean...
