This item on British eBay looks very intruiging, just wondering if this kit would fit in an X1/9?

Not sure why the add references an X1/9. The Abarth Ritmo (Strada) had a 2ltr twin cam in it. So the transmission would likely be from a Beta. So it would not work in an X1/9 assuming not TC transplant had been done.

It won't fit if it is for a Abarth 130TC, the most powerful version of the Ritmo/Strada. 130hp twin cam. The transmission is completely different, as mentioned above.

Well, assuming it is in fact for a Ritmo 130TC it won't fit. But that gearbox is basically a Beta gearbox and the internals pictured here appear to be for an X1/9/Uno gearbox. If I remember correctly, the ratios for 1st and 2nd are standard X ratios.

I think that somebody had emailed me about this auction before.
