I've never seen anyting like it, I've never seen a dyno thing (which I think that's what it is).
How did you do?
 
It is an awsome car.

Big ol' fat turbo on this one. Lots of hp, and some of the biggest custom made flairs I have seen on any X. I think it is wider than it is taller!

Look in the old xweb archives and there are some pics of it at the track as well.

this X is one of my favorite of all time

There were a few pics of it I posted a long time ago on Xweb 1.0 (can not find the post) it was in a hanger I think. Here is another sweet shot of it...

Absolutly......

This is my favorite modded X of all, no question. I LOVE the look of the huge flares and side skirts as opposed to the Dallara style extended fenders. If I had the $$ to build my dream car, I would copy this bodywork as close as possible. Kinda parcial to the color too. Drooooooooool.
 
I remember reading it runs a heavily modified euro spec Ford Escort...

engine.Like in the modern 4WD Escort rally cars if i remember well....
 
I really like those flairs. At first i was not sure, but after seeing all the photo's when the wheels properly spaced... it looks amazing. Much more modern style wide body, and yet suites the X well.
 
was going to say "wingless" but...

then you see the guy off to the left carrying the rear wing to the car! Maybe it's a small trailer... lol
 
The last time I saw pics of this car .....

I was editor of !icsunonove! for the X1/9OC UK and running Windows 95!
The guy carrying the wing is, of course, old man Graversen himself and my guess is that he has a number of wings for different circuits which provide different lift/drag/downforce effects to suit.
(Nope. Strike that. He's got a soft cover for it and it fits better when the rear wing/bootlid is removed. Also, during scruitineering, I bet that the wing fouls the rear of the roll over hoop, stopping the track officials from checking the trunk area etc.)

It's still a great example of how the exxy can be made to be competitive and look so incredibly tough ...

I'd have thought that having the wings moulded separately would be the way to go as the basic shell dimensions and shape are pretty much standard exxy.

350 bhp from a 1400cc turbo is strong but not the highest I've read of. My take on the Graversen is that it's light (795 kilos with all the extra bodywork and large wheels) and is driven by a guy who knows his car inside out.
