My machine shop buddy just got in a DOHC engine short block this week.
It has 124 AC cast into the block, so I'm pretty sure it's a '67-'73 1438cc DOHC engine.
He told me he has done more than a handful of these over the years, but it's been probably 5-7 years since one has been in the shop. The customer provided bearings and rings, I think they want to try to re-use the pistons assuming the clearances are within spec.
Any special tips I should pass on to him?
