124 (Lada) steering wheel hub on 850

Hi,
Has anyone modified a 124 mid 70's era steering wheel hub adapter to fit 850's. The issue is the peg that cancels the turn signal. I don't have an 850 steering wheel in front of me to compare. I do have steering wheel from a 75 124 spider.

Yes, I did modify a 124 hub adapter several years ago for my 850 Spider. Can't remember what I had to do grinding-wise on the adapter, but it wasn't that extensive. I don't have self-canceling on my turn signals now (but can't remember if they worked with the original hub either). Sorry, not much of an answer!
