165/70/R13 tires

I see they also have a 185/70-13 tire listed now - Kumho SOLUS TA11 for $71. Last time I checked, they had nothing in that size.

The Vredestein website also shoes a 175/65/R13 but don't know if they are actually being sold in US. You could always check with a local dealer.

They don't give enough size specs for the 165/70/13. I don't know much about this specific size, so I looked out of curiosity. Tirerack is usually really good about [providing all the relevant info.

I ended up using Yokohama A-Drive 165/70 R13's. There isn't a lot around in this size. The grip is good, rides comfortable and not noticeably noisy. Pretty happy with them as the original Pirelli's on the car were old, hard and rode terribly! I remember the Pirelli's on my first 1980 X1/9 were rubbish as well, as on a relatively brisk drive (slightly over the speed limit, young & stupid at the time, and yes the little 1500 will do 115mph) I tore the steel belts away from the rubber and ended up with a big kink in the tread!
