So pretty! I do miss my MGB (besides the Lucas electrics), although honestly I can't remember how it handled. I loved driving it with the tonneau cover on in almost any weather, mind you, I was only 20 :D

The first sports car I ever drove was my uncle's 1964 MGB. It was about 2 years old at the time. He was rather surprised that I knew how to double clutch.

On the subject of British cars. The very first car I bought and fully restored/customized myself was a Triumph TR4 at age 13. Took me two years to complete it, just in time to have my license and be able to drive it (it was my high school car). That was also the very last British vehicle I've ever owned. Let's just say I learned my lesson early. :p

I had. red 1964, I paid $400 for it in 1982.. It had rust where the leaf-spring attached to the body so whenever you shifted gears it would turn slightly to the right. I traded it in for a Fiat 124 Coupe that was a significantly better car...
