1980 Fiat X1/9 FI Running Project For Sale $3200
Summary: Runs good, drives good. Needs body, interior work, maintenance items and finish details. Solid foundation to build a good driver.
History: I bought this car a few years ago on ebay because it was relatively close by and had a lot of good parts on it. The PO was an autocrosser/car-guy who started to build an autocrosser out of it but subsequently decided to thin his herd. I have tinkered with it, going through the electrical system, repairing some obvious flaws, with the intention of making a kind of rat-racer out of it. I have driven it once or twice a week, but I have now purchased another car and I need to thin my herd so this one goes. Definitely not finished, still in project mode.
14 October Revision:
Put the front and rear bumpers and accompanying flares/spoilers on
Removed remaining stripe on driver's side
Took out the extra parts and reduced the price
Features:
Vick’s coil overs
Vick’s Prima Front Brakes
Vick’s 15 inch Wheels with 195/45 Nexen tires
Used Momo 12” Corsa Steering wheel (gives leg clearance for tall drivers)
Steering rack, master cylinders, fuel injectors, fuel tank replaced by PO
LED Headlights, LED instrument lights, fiber optics operational
Recently replaced front radius arm bushings
