RED X19

Looks good. I would add a brace for the rod to the tailpipe. That's a lot of stress on one connection otherwise. I think it will fail over time.

On this week will add a brace somewhere, have to buy stainless for that.
I was going to make as in picture but Your suggestion looks much better/easier.

Called him today. He is really serious about price. Black isn’t rust but primer, a lot of parts are missing, 5soeed gearbox without axles, because it is 4speed car. and told that he bought it for 2500€ half a year ago.

made pipes for heater, if anyone is going to make same way, I guess it will be nobody, I can give precise dimensions

will make photo when installed few days later.
They are in the interior on the left side of passanger. rear connections are just out through firewall :D

Classic shift knob. ;) I bought a "fake" that looks like that for mine, but a real Momo is better. I'm going for this look:

By the way, that fabric in the background of your last picture (that the Momo is sitting on) might be a good "period" design of material for the X1/9 seat and door panel inserts.

It is Daytona Violet cloth for e30, too overpriced (if can find any) to use anywhere else than in Daytona Violet e30.

I should have guessed it was from a BMW, it has the 'look' of many German car fabrics (which is why I like it). For example VW is well known for using some very interesting patterns on their seat inserts. But it's the same for VW fabrics, very hard to find and very expensive.

I also like the chrome Momo shift knob. It's in my 1980 car. I guess some sanding and polishing will bring back yours to it's former glory!

It looks that because of quarantine people spend more time on web and facebook and I found first owner in Latvia of this car who posted his "old photos in some group".So in red it is this car in 1993, in blue have no idea which year

I got my Mr. Gasket chrome ball from Jegs (or was it Summit?) for about $15. Uses a setscrew and a sleeve.

Fun to find that. I'm guessing the blue version was later, because the car looks older. Also looks like proof the X1/9 can attract cute girls. :D

made and sealed difuser for IC, tested it with airgun. Any small hole in ducting allows to go through more air than through IC.
For those turbocharged x19, seal Your ducting good.

*Yest that diffuser looks bad, I will remake it some day :/
