Pedal box for # 209 had a diversion.. The throttle pedal needed fixing due to far excessive friction.. it was essentially stuck. The plastic bushing expanded effectively locking up the pedal. Took it apart, modified the housing to fit three# 6700-RS bearings with a new shaft brazed to the oem lancia parts. Added a 0.250" ID spherical bearing to pull on the throttle cable. What remains is a pedal return spring, primer, paint then install.

As found in# 209, plastic bushings are knackered.

Fitting (slight press fit) the three# 6700-RS bearings, one is in the housing, two others and spacer. There is a circle at the end of the bore to retain the bearings as a secondary bearing retention method.

The pedal stop bend works as a stop by meeting the floor. The oem pedal was shortened and modified to allow adjustment of it's angle relative to the throttle shaft that pulls on the throttle cable.

Front view of the pedal assembly, pedal clamp and spherical bearing to pull on the throttle cable is visible in this picture. Return spring, primer, paint then install back into# 209. Then the pedal box can be installed.
