850 Racer

Just a quick question that I'm having trouble finding the answer to. Is the 850 Racer roof just a top for a spider? Or is it a totally different car that is a hard top? When I look at pictures it looks like it has latches at the rear of the top...what gives?

The Racer is essentially a Spider body with a modified windshield frame (top) & a "permanent" (bolted-on) fixed steel hardtop. The are no mounting latches anywhere on this hardtop, only concealed bolts/studs.

That's a beautiful racer. Would look even better with a set of period correct alloys (like Roosevelt wheels)
