I can prep my car with some suspension tweaks, but does anyone know if there are any active rally races in california or oregon? It is very fun to play on a dirt road with an x incase you guys with nice paint jobs don't know. I was just wondering if anyone knows anything about it, or even if the scca is apart of rally races please tell me

Back when I was in highschool, I lived on a farm and there were miles of dirt/gravel roads in the area to play on. And yes the X makes an excellent dirt road weapon.
SCCA has an active performance rally program in the Pacific Northwest. Try the SCCA website at SCCA.org and follow the link for Performance Rally. You should be able to find out about events in the area and how to get involved.

I used to clean up on all the Toyota's, the X1/9 handels like a FWD on dirt with the proper tires.
You will have fun. I also wouldn't raise the suspension, just put a honking skidpan on and you will do fine. They also fly through the air prettygood, if I can find the picture I will poist it. The only dammage was the brakehose holders were bent.<!-- google_ad_section_end -->
