It's going to be in Florida in late January or early spring. There will be three events, dragracing, autocross and concourse
I was just thinking if we made this something of a Seattle X-1/9 club project we could get some publicity for the club and maybe get some of our pictures in the magazine.
I know Eric Armstrong and Mike Middlestead know my little X pretty well at this point and they know it will need a lot of work to be competitive, especially in the concourse event.
Basically I'm looking for help with the body work and someone with a welder to help make the necessary motor mounts to fit the 2.2 turbo motor in place.

There are three events; drag racing, autocross and the concours. the first yar of the event ($1500 challenge) someone almost won with a turbocharged Chrysler minivan! The winner was a MG midget with a Vega Cosworth motor, very nice car. The second place car was a Dodge Omni turbo (run by the same minivan guys) So with a well built 2.2 turbo and the very nice Exxie chassis I htink we could stand a shot at doing well!
