Automatic Transmission Cooling Lines

Greetings,

1979 124 Spider 2000.

Does anyone have a source or suggestion for replacement of the flexible portion of the automatic transmission cooling lines that go from the transmission to the radiator? Mine have started to weep through the braided/flexible part where the lines rise up into the engine bay.

Hi Peter,

ChrisO lists a rebuild option over at FiatPlus. I would bet that you could have the hose or hoses rebuilt locally at a transmission shop. The transmission is a GM built unit, so it shouldn't be anything unusual for a shop to handle.

Hello Jim, thanks for your reply. I agree, a local hose "doctor" should be able to attach new hose to the fittings and crimp them.
