I remember Bob's name well from my earliest days of autocross, when he was frequently winning national events in an X1/9. Sad to hear of his passing.

Bob was one of the first to be successful running an exxe in SCCA back in the day. Bob did a number of things for the exxe including lobbying for the 40mm single carb (40 DCNF) in F-production, Wiesco flat top pistons and other performance parts that were a first for the exxe back in those days.
