Most folks hate those things. I personally only like the ones that came on the '75 X. They are dual rails like the others, but the end caps are different & look much nicer IMO.
Anyway, no, they won't fit without some modifications to your car. You will basically have to do the entire "1300 facelift" that we discussed in an earlier thread - it fell off into the archives, use the little row of numbers at the bottom of the main forum page to find it: it was called "the bumperless look" or something like that.
You would have to take off the bumpers you have, and all the plastic surrounds & trim, the front parking lights, spoiler & grille, and ditch all of your bumper shocks.
Then you would need to install a 1300 front spoiler, grille & front parking lights & use the shocks from the dual-rail bumpers. The shock mounting plate is 90 degrees rotated between the dual-rail & 1-piece bumpers. Meaning, the plate for the duallie bumper goes vertical, the ones you now have go horizontal.
Other than that, it could be done. By the way, even the '75 duallie that I like still looks pretty dumb in the stock mounting position. I fixed this on my '75 X by "lowering" the bumpers. When you do this, they no longer are obstructing clear view of the car's face & tail, they make the car look lower, and they finally don't look like your X is wearing a football helmet!

I don't think they will take it if there are bolt on parts sticking out. With the exhausts, they took all of the pieces and taped them together. The hardware came in seperate packing. I'm sure that it was done to skirt the "130 inches" rule that UPS has.

Most folks hate those things. I personally only like the ones that came on the '75 X. They are dual rails like the others, but the end caps are different & look much nicer IMO.
Anyway, no, they won't fit without some modifications to your car. You will basically have to do the entire "1300 facelift" that we discussed in an earlier thread - it fell off into the archives, use the little row of numbers at the bottom of the main forum page to find it: it was called "the bumperless look" or something like that.
You would have to take off the bumpers you have, and all the plastic surrounds & trim, the front parking lights, spoiler & grille, and ditch all of your bumper shocks.
Then you would need to install a 1300 front spoiler, grille & front parking lights & use the shocks from the dual-rail bumpers. The shock mounting plate is 90 degrees rotated between the dual-rail & 1-piece bumpers. Meaning, the plate for the duallie bumper goes vertical, the ones you now have go horizontal.
Other than that, it could be done. By the way, even the '75 duallie that I like still looks pretty dumb in the stock mounting position. I fixed this on my '75 X by "lowering" the bumpers. When you do this, they no longer are obstructing clear view of the car's face & tail, they make the car look lower, and they finally don't look like your X is wearing a football helmet!

and handed it over the counter to UPS.
THey shipped it just like that ..

I don't think they will take it if there are bolt on parts sticking out. With the exhausts, they took all of the pieces and taped them together. The hardware came in seperate packing. I'm sure that it was done to skirt the "130 inches" rule that UPS has.
