dash end vent rubbers needed

This is a total long shot but the early Xs used a rubber tube to feed air to the end dash vents. Mine are rock hard and when I removed the dash they pulled out from the firewall. It's going to be murder to try and get them inserted into the front firewall. Now that the weather turned chilly I can feel cold air pouring in where the rubber is spaced from the firewall. What are the odds that someone has NOS or reproductions? Or is there a way to soften them up?

I had the same issue. I replaced them with wire reinforced A/C duct from one of the vintage air companies.
