Engine cover bump stops for 850 Spider

Good afternoon,
I am searching for for rear deck lid bumps stops for the 850Spider. Bayless does not have them. Shipping from UK is fairly pricey. There are generic rectangular bump stops out there for modest prices. However, I do not know the most critical dimension, which is height. Any suggestions on where to get these or is anyone able to provide me with the correct height from the sheet metal lip of the back panel? Thanks
Hello Dave,

Good luck setting the proper preload on the lid.

Here is my solution-

Facilitated by the use of a sheet rubber stack.
Determined the gap at all four corners.

First ply with clearance hole for sheet metal screw.
The following plies with clearance hole for head of screw.
Plies laminated with cyanoacrylate.
Plies squared with sanding.
Assembly wet installed-fay sealed using silicone.

Note: One corner required a slightly taller stack.

Note: The lid release plunger assembly can be adjusted as well
as the hook can be slightly reshaped to get a perfect 'click'.

Hey thanks! I have to go through the entire rear horizontal panels as they are all out of level. I will keep this in mind. Good tip.
