What is it?
Just in case you are planning on mounting a muffler directly to the header, you need a certain length of exhaust system, otherwise you will lose torque.
I would recommend coming out of the header with a 90 to the left, then a 180 up, put the muffer up there, then after the muffler a 45 down and a 90 out the cutout.
I bought mandrel bent pieces of tubing and had them welded up.

I bought the pieces from JC Whitney. They come with one end opened up so that you can stick the pieces together. I had to cut a couple of pieces, but then was able to stick my system together and test fit it. I used pop rivets to temporarily lock the pieces to each other and had the whole thing welded up including the rivet holes. I used a Dynomax Super Turbo muffler. The pipes and muffler are 2". They also make 2 1/4".
On your car you would have to also mount the system somehow, for instance by hanging it from the trunk floor.

I am not a fan of the SuperTrapp muffler. I dynoed one on my racecar and found that pulling enough plates to make any dent in the noise level cost horsepower. And its not even a good muffler.
I once bought a PBS header that had a supertrapp stuck right on the end of the header. It was terrible. This makes the exhaust too short and costs you torque. My racecar actually made more torque with a Walker Dynomax UltraFlo than with a straight pipe and lost no peak horsepower.

Just in case you are planning on mounting a muffler directly to the header, you need a certain length of exhaust system, otherwise you will lose torque.
I would recommend coming out of the header with a 90 to the left, then a 180 up, put the muffer up there, then after the muffler a 45 down and a 90 out the cutout.
I bought mandrel bent pieces of tubing and had them welded up.

Where did you get your exhaust pieces? I guess that i was just going to put the muffler right on the header, but obviously i dont want to do to all this trouble just to get the car going any slower that it is now. <!-- google_ad_section_end -->

Duh, I thought you really had a muffler named Circus Trumpet
I bought the pieces from JC Whitney. They come with one end opened up so that you can stick the pieces together. I had to cut a couple of pieces, but then was able to stick my system together and test fit it. I used pop rivets to temporarily lock the pieces to each other and had the whole thing welded up including the rivet holes. I used a Dynomax Super Turbo muffler. The pipes and muffler are 2". They also make 2 1/4".
On your car you would have to also mount the system somehow, for instance by hanging it from the trunk floor.

I am not a fan of the SuperTrapp muffler. I dynoed one on my racecar and found that pulling enough plates to make any dent in the noise level cost horsepower. And its not even a good muffler.
I once bought a PBS header that had a supertrapp stuck right on the end of the header. It was terrible. This makes the exhaust too short and costs you torque. My racecar actually made more torque with a Walker Dynomax UltraFlo than with a straight pipe and lost no peak horsepower.
