Greetings all,
I had a quick question about the rear engine mount. I have a little rattle where the exhaust pipes hit the rear brace, and thought maybe the rear mount was not "squeezed" down enough. I have the rubber donut and upper rubber around the mount, with the aluminum piece going through it. But I noticed that my bolt goes down from the top, and the nut is underneath. I see in pictures that the bolt should go up from the bottom and the nut up above.
So my question is, does that matter? Could my old rubber pieces be so bad that it allows the motor to move and rattle the exhaust? If so, can I replace them without removing the rear panel? Looks like I can get to the three bolts holding the mount on the engine, and I can support the engine from below.
Any advice is appreciated.
