Five alloy wheels for FIAT X-1/9 or 124 - for sale in BC (price negotiable)

alanand marce

Low Mileage
These have been stored inside for the last 15 years - used a couple of winters with snow tyres on the rims. The tyres are on the rims but should be discarded because of their age. I've seen prices online from USD 250 each to USD 2250 each for the wheels. They're not in pristine condition so I'm guessing a price of USD 1750 for the four (open to suggestions).

Ya know they salt the roads in British Columbia. I can't wait to see what $1700 US (10k CDN) snow tire rims look like.

BC = Bogota, Colombia?
Apologies - not clear - BC for British Columbia. The wheels are in British Columbia, I am in Colombia. They were never used in BC - the vehicle was used in Alberta (no salt used at the time - doesn't work below minus 17 deg C anyway), later in the USA, UK, and back to Canada, arriving (and staying in BC). The wheels with snow tyres were used in Alberta and nowhere else.

Steve, Being in Oz, you might not be aware that the only snow in Bogota doesn fall from the sky. Also, Alanand spelled "tires" with a "y". Dead giveaway. :)
We do get hail occasionally, and the local media report with photos which make it look as if there's been snowfall (as attached). We do get snow higher up - there are several mountain ranges with permanent snow cover, some not far away - Bogotá is at 2400m (higher than Mount Kosciuzko).

I magnified the photo and there is a spot at about 11 o'clock that says Fiat. I suppose they could be wheels sold by Fiat or just wheels made for a Fiat. They look a bit Campagnolo like but I doubt that they are.

Cromodora CD3. Found and lots of 850s and early 124s.. Made of magnesium. Many are concered about corrosion and cracking. Those clip on lead weights are just the thing for corrosion. I have a set of 3 sitting on a shelf. Myredracer also from BC sold a set on here in 2022. I don't think he was asking 1/3 of what this gentleman is.

I have to agree that the price is pure fantasy :) If they were in immaculate condition [concourse], yeah, maybe. But as is with condition unknowable?
