Very good excuse for a Dallara kit.Let’s see how much insurance will offer for repairing this.
That’s exactly what I toughtVery good excuse for a Dallara kit.
I am “B” in the drawingThat's a major bummer! What happened?
YesThe A B boxes with arrow head are where you ended up? Circles are where you started?
Here we have an option:Janis, so sorry to hear this. That really sucks. And it looks like quite a lot of damage including the suspension, wheel, and body. Hopefully the insurance will cover things. Best of luck, let us know what happens.
I suppose if there is any way to be positive about it, think of this as the opportunity to make your custom side scoops. Or like Bjorn said, a body kit. However find out how badly the mechanical damage is first. It might have transmitted force through the axle into the transmission? If things are too severe then it may cost more to fix than the value of the car, and the insurance will only "total" it - meaning a complete write off rather than repairing it (at least that's what they do here).
Can’t say what was first but these wheel are with big positive offset - that means wheel was last.
Wishbone is bent a little.
Steering wheel is still in same position, no new noises or vibrations.
But this collision may have damaged a long list:
1. What You see in pics
2.all right side suspension
3.gearbox
4.all left side suspension because impact was hitting against big rock pavement ant tram rails
5. Engine mounts
6.door lock mechanism
....
Wow, that is really cheap compared to here! That's what I'd have also.X1/9 inscured this way for me costs 34€/year (haven’t heard of any other cheaper case here )
