How do you remove chrome trim 74

Getting ready for paint shop. How do you remove the trims around the back of the 74.

There are small tabs protruding the body and that are twisted on the inside to keep the trim in place.
All you have to do is to untwist them to remove the trim, it's a bit cramped though.
You will learn patience.... :p
 
Or if the holes had been filled or the tabs broken it may be attached with some kind of adhesive like clear silicone.
 
Try to save the black plastic strip under the chrome.
That stuff isn‘t available anywhere.
 
Done. It was a piece of cake after I removed the tail lights.

Next how do I remove the rear sail trim. Is this a rivet? One on each side. How do I remove that. Thanks
