I really don't know but up until lately, some guy named Shumaker driving for Ferrari was again, almost unbeatable for 10 years.

I knew he retired from racing but I didn't know it was because of a crash and a TBI.

Note that GT40's won 4 years in a row from '66 - '69. Looks like Porsche and Audi have dominated ever since with a Toyota Hybrid winning in 2018! AND... Not a Ferrari ever since. Also note by Country, USA and Italy are tied with 18 wins apiece!
