Hey, I've had my X since I was 19. I'm 25 now and still have it. For me it was the cool factor. Looks like a Ferrari so it must be a mini-rarri. Believe it or not, this thing was a chick magnet during college. Girls like open top cars, it is what it is.
Love that Lego built model shown in the link. I've always wanted to replicate the X in Legos, but never really had the time to sit down and actually do it. One mighty impressive car.
