Mine seems to leak at the hose, but I've cranked that sucker down tight and still I get a pool of fuel on top of the pump. Also, someone mentioned using a pump from an '86 Ford LTD I believe because it uses the same injection (they are much cheaper). Has anyone tried this with any success? Thanks in advance.

[FONT=Trebuchet MS, Verdana, Tahoma, Arial]<!-- google_ad_section_start -->I had the same problem, but it wasn't the pump at all. The hose looked to be in good condition, but had developed a number of pinholes that allowed the gas to pool up on top of the pump.

I replaced all hoses and used new clamps... no problems since.
