I have a broken shoulder, fractured scapula, and possible fractured elbow. Other than that? Fit as an old fiddle. Thank you for asking. Are you ok?
I have the answer to the bumper dilemma!
Just get hit on the front driver side quarter panel. No bumper involvement at all.

All you do is wait a micro-second for the car to spin to a stop, and hey ho presto, no rear bumper.
Of course before you start this technique be sure you have a back up plan.
I think, minus the broken bones of course, that about covers my bumper project.
Any questions ?

Sheeit that hurts. So very sorry for that. That must have really hurt. Wow. Good thing it is a solid old car, had it been my 124 Coupe it would not have gone so well. Wow.
I hope your convalescence goes smoothly.
There is a really nice X for sale on BAT right now. No time like the present to get back into the saddle.
all kidding aside though, I'm lucky to be alive.
