Hey everyone! As the title suggests I am looking for more info on honda b16/18 swap.

I Recall Walter Biswanger's site being an in depth source. But the site doesnt seem to work for me:
http://autox19.com/b16/

Is there any other full write up with pictures anywhere?

I just tried the link but it only works on a browser that I have that supports Flash Player. I used Firefox and it opened fine.

I've got an updated version of the conversion above that I never published, unfortunately that PowerPoint presentation is on my work computer. If you're still interested, pm me your email address and I can send them out Monday when I get in.

I still have the original PowerPoint as well. I would like to update it if you have a newer version. This time not doing it in flash though.

I also have done a small write up on my ventures. http://autox19.com/blog/index.php/2017/03/ I will have to up date it to my changes since I published that.

It was nice to read about the story behind the story. Looking forward to seeing this in person. Spring can’t be that far away can it?

yeah, I said that 7-8 years ago LOL. this time it is about 99%. All kids graduated HS and no HS sports on weekends!!!

Only 7-8 years? My son is 5'11" and never saw my Fiat running. But it's a long story. I will maybe post it one day. My car is also at 98-99% ready now, just needing to change some brake and clutch hoses from the reservoir and redo brakes and suspension. In the meantime I changed job twice, got 2 kids, a new girlfriend, moved once and I'm now 18 years older... I bought another one 8 years ago because I was missing driving it so much... and in case I could need some stock parts to go thru inspection cause I forgot to plate it in time once...

Odie, I'll make a few tweaks and add little section about what I like and what I would have done differently (or will do in the future). I'll send it out to you Monday or Tuesday of next week. Thanks for handling the hosting of the site!

Wow, I wasn’t aware of the continual change to the power plant. Nothing like continuous improvement :)

Stupid question, you have always kept the Honda intake and related plumbing and hardware, had you ever considered individual throttle bodies and an alternative engine management system? Or is they OE stuff just bulletproof and it just works so why screw with another thing?

Very nice and clean install on all accounts.

Thank you for sending me the base files, greatly appreciated and thanks to Odie for putting it up on the web!

Karl, a lot of people don't like the fact that the intake sticks in to the trunk area somewhat. ITBs are available for the B series engines but they are somewhat of a pain to get set up correctly from what I've read. There are also a number of different intake manifolds available that don't have the long runners of the stock intake and thus wouldn't protrude into the trunk. But unless your engine is designed to use the shorter runners (ex. turbo'd), you'd lose some horsepower and suffer some torque loss at low rpms. The car does has an alternative engine management system that works in conjunction with the factory ECU. That is the Hondata S300. This allows for custom tunes.

and completed. ok ready for someone else to validate. (it works for me) I changed it to a single presentation as the internet has changed its ways and now with mobile devices, it is just one long scrolling by default.

I remember that write-up when I first looked at a possible Honda option! Very well done and thanks for posting (again). Very well done.

Thankyou so much to Walter and all involved.

This is what I love about this forum, such a cohesive atmosphere is rare to find.
:D

I have been meaning to upload the fine work of Scott Biswanger so that if the web address ever goes down we have it here.

This is the sole work of Scott Biswanger (aka X1/9Cruiser) who owns the rights to all images and the work within the files.

These are PDFs translated from his Powerpoint files.

I have it also as a single. Page. I can upload it to the wiki later. ( autox19.com is my site) the later one part has additions he has made to it.

The updated link worked for me, thank you. And adding your latest single page to the Wiki would be great. I enjoy these types of write ups. No idea if I will ever do a engine swap, but the concept certainly is attractive to me. So this is valuable to have for reference. Thanks again to everyone involved.
