Marelli advance curve figures

..nothing works as OEM parts does.. @NEG take a look in the forum, there is Jeff that sells a bosch electronic dizzy, probably the best solution for sohc ignition.. i personally would return the product back to the seller and go OEM
 
Started to make the plate, marked out two, the second is more accurate so I’ll go with that one.



 
Cutting out took a while.



Bit of filing and smoothing got the plate to the correct size.





Still have to tap the M4 holes and cut the tab out and bend upwards.
 
M4 tap turn up so got around to fitting the Lumenition system today.

Tapped the holes and put loctite on the threads. Chopper disk is a touch close to the wiring but the grommet seems to secure the wires well enough to stop them moving.

Timed at 10deg BTDC. Need to test drive it still, however, it fired up promptly, with points I’d have to turn the engine over for a bit before it started, this time it was almost instantaneous. Ran the car up to temp and all seems ok.







Mounted the ICU on the Lumenition mounting bracket by the distributor, discrete and out of the way.

 
Nice work - might be worth putting a cable tie on the outside of the cable bundle to stop them being pushed into the chopper?
