MINITZ 06 DALLARA BOX Sold

DougESmith

True Classic
This is the box only. Some people like to hang boxes as decoration, myself include. I would like $50 US plus actual shipping. But open to negotiation to a point. Pics are all sides and one of the inside.

Admittedly I've never been into building models or RC cars so I know nothing about them. But I am curious. From your pics I see this was a imported (Japan) glow-plug RC car? 1/12 scale sounds pretty large, which I assume a RC car needs to be; roughly what physical size was it? I imagine a Dallara bodied X1/9 model would have been rare, especially a RC version. I remember when glow-plug planes and a few cars were popular in the 60's. Very quick indeed. More recently I saw a park where the RC planes fly...quite impressive, I can see how it could be addictive. It seems the RC cars are all electric now, or are gas powered ones still around? Thanks for the education. :)

Yes Nitro(gas) RC cars are still out there, 1/10 and bigger, on and off road versions. I have another complete box, to go with the car. This box for sale came with parts. Here are some pictures of the car and box I am keeping. The full box has a folding back placard.
