There is little if any side to side adjustment as the rear bumper is essentially located by two bolt holes at the end of the bumper where it is near the rear wheel. Up-down is where the adjustment is needed. If this is not done, the rear bumper gap to body cannot be set up properly... as the height between bumper mounts in the body is different (example of how these bodies are not as accurate or in some ways hand built). The top bar that joins the two bumper mounts will be adjusted to meet the top inside edge of the bumper to help support the bumper. Stock Monte bumpers have four M6 metal inserts moulded into the bumper.. not gonna trust this, in theory it is ok, in practice. maybe not. That top bar will not be secured to the rear bumper, the bumper will rest on that bar with a strip of silicon foam rubber tape allowing the plastic to contract-expand and be supported. If the plastic part is restricted in movement of expansion-contraction, it will warp and change shape in strange ways.

Nice captive fastener and what looks like a triple square fastener to attach the bracket to the body.

The header seems very low, is that normal?
