Montecarlo Turbo Body kit

Very cool indeed. This will be another amazing project to watch.

I would stay away from the Porsche trans, consider a Subaru with FWD kit or a VW/Audi longitudinal FWD transmission. All three are robust, relatively inexpensive and at least as durable as the Porsche unit. Additionally they are more avialable.

Not necessarily applicable but very cool nonetheless, they do good work and may have other parts you might find useful: http://www.subarugears.com/index.html

When discussing shipping the sale went cold. Not on either part, just communication took longer and longer and couldnt work out anything with a broker that i felt i could trust. I still want to go through with this. Just need to feel safe after the purchase. I totally trust the seller. It is what will happen between seller and when it arrives here that I couldnt nail down

Perhaps insuring the shipment rather than use a broker? Most shipping companies offer the option of insurance. Otherwise it can be purchased from a independent insurance carrier. That way if the items are damaged during transport you will get your money back.

@BEEK Thanks yes I have been chatting with Franco he seems like a trustworthy guy. I deal with international shipping in my day job so not uncomfortable with that aspect so long as things are packed well and insured. Looks like he has shipped these to Japan and Nordic countries not sure if they have been on a boat but either way as long as it is packed well and insured then that's about all you can do. Thanks for the reply 👍🏼. Will come back and post if I move forward with it.
