Any one have suggestions on reliable source for a motor?

Edit: found one on eBay with 50k in CT, with a warranty for under 1k shipped , so I went for it

Spun bearings - was this the vehicle/engine with the low oil pressure warning issue?

Edit: Just saw your post in the other thread. That really sucks. I'd hoped Fiat quality would have improved over the last 40 years.

These motors are a dime a dozen, aside from cars with the problem you have, there is almost no market for them due to the fact that there is no standalone engine management system.

You should be able to find a similar mileage engine for well under 1000 bucks.

Have a look at Ebay. LKQ advertises on there and they have a wide variety of engines for 800-1000.

You can likely find one in your area to avoid the 200 bucks shipping.

Bummer that you need one. Oops need to read more carefully you already have one...
