New acquisition!

Just bought a ‘75 280Z from a friend of mine. It had been sitting in a garage since 1989 and he ended up with it a few months ago when he had to buy it to get some Supra engines the seller had. No rust! With a clean gas tank, filters and a battery it runs and drives. Has Injection, 5 Speed and A/C. New hoses for engine and hydraulics next, then cosmetics including a backdate to 240Z bumpers....that will cut 250 pounds of the ends of the car. Figured I would get one of these before the prices go much higher.

That's a definite must do!
Nice clean looking example. These were fun cars in their day. Much more reliable and dependable than some cars we know.
And the market on them is rising, so nice time to buy.

Nice buy. I'm actually actively looking for just that. A 280fi that can easily be backdated is my target. My '70 240 sold on BAT for over $71K last October. These things are getting pricy, if not tuff to find in clean condition. The Z cars are my second love.
