I didn't hate the idea...

I just didn't think we should expand to other models. -Just my opinion... didn't mean I would push back
or hate the idea. I'm just an old guy who hates change.

Thanks Bob. I put the text in as a place-holder until a suitable photo could be found and scaled. Now you've done it for us! I think the blue is the better choice but will use whichever others prefer.

I decided to stick with X1/20 as the forum name since it fits the Xweb umbrella better :)
 
Just my opinion, that x 1/20 looks out of plce. A simple pic of a scaled down scorp with no writing would blend right in. Again, just my opinion.
 
I like the addition of the scorp stuff BUT is there a way to have that section NOT appear as new posts? Like the NFC? Just cuz I scan new posts for interesting stuff, or something I might throw my 2 cents at and I'll have to wade through scorp stuff. No big deal, just wondering.
 
Well Bob on that subject. How about an 850 forum. Since there isn't one of those out there..... It has some lineage and connection to the X and even shares many parts.....:wink2:
 
Well, if you're going to do that...

If you are going to do the 850 (which is o.k. by me) then I think you should have an "other 128s" forum, too.

Just sayin.

Bob, very nice job on the icon and I was of the same mind as you in looking at getting a proper icon for this subset as soon as possible. I spent a good part of the afternoon noodling on an image that I thought might be consistent with the current ones. I don't even own one of those beauties, (and probably never will but can always dream...), but throw out my rendition as an option (honestly, it doesn't matter to me which way the final goes!). I was also working on a line drawing version but may just let it go at this! This is a png file (which I think the others also are.

Really? I haven't touched 850s in decades (bad experience...dont ask) but I'm struggling to think of any significant parts in common. Enlighten me?
 
I like all of the them...

but I don't think the red should be used. Red is a pretty dominating color and I believe it would certainly pop out more than the X images used.

Seems improper for the secondary subject car to dominate Page icons for a X1/9 orientated site.

Just my 2 cents....
