Nice car Gerald, it looks like it was loved. What year is it?

Hi Mike- It's a 1977. I feel it was taken good care of. There did not appear to be rust. I had it repainted in the original color. The seats were redone locally here in Houston in the original colors. There are still things to do on it, but it will be a fun adventure.

All for now.

Congrats on a great buy and one presumes some work after purchase?

Lovely car and original equipment as manufactured looking.

More pics from a few different angles:)

Very nice, and nicely de-bumpered. I think I see a single Weber DCNF in there, 36 or 40?

It’s an inspiration as I look over at my X1/20 that I’m starting paint prep on...

It’s a 40 DCNF.

I’m looking forward to seeing your X1/20.

Our 81, in the foothills just west of town......a fun place to drive.....in the morning, when it's cooler. Our boy is sitting in the passenger seat (covered, of course). He loves to go everywhere!
High metallic silver. Top & engine cover same black textured semi-gloss, very similar to stock top.

My goodness, both of these X 1/9s (Wilbmeister and 7982X) are lovely!

I cannot wait to get mine.

Yup, restored by a previous owner. All the hard work (read major expense) done for me I suppose but they cut a lot of corners, some of the work is of a very questionable quality but I’m slowly working my way through it.

My '74 X when it turned 50K miles this summer. It's a very late '74 that's identical to my very first car ever (which was a very early '74) except this one is Medium Green. My first was red... Here in central Illinois we'd call this one John Deere green... ;)
