True Classic
I visited the show in Padova this past weekend in search of a few pieces for the fleet and was also looking at possibly purchasing a Lancia Flavia 2000 (Coupe or Berlina) or an early

Alfasud Berlina. For better or worse I found neither that appealed to me. It continues to be a fabulous show in a beautiful city. I will post a few pictures…

I have always lusted after a Dino 2400 Coupe and The Dino Club had an excellent stand with both a Marrone 246 and 2400 Coupe, a lovely change from Resale Rosso. Tragically an anorexic young lady cluttered up the scene..

On my first trip to Italia in November 1979 I looked at a pale yellow 2400 Coupe in Florence with a supposed 8,000km for the equivalent of $6600 USD…..oh the pain!

Please forgive duplicate postings, I am still a bit jet lagged.

Nice! Thanks for sharing.

Did you go with the folks from AutoRicami and Fiat Fun? I see they were there as well.

Thanks for sharing. That's a very cool show with an eclectic mix of cars. Lots of great stuff to dream about. This Abarth racer really tickles my sweet spot:

Regarding the examples with the "marrone" color. I like it a lot. Interestingly marrone translates to "brown" and I would not consider that as brown. Unless it looks much different in the pic than in person?

It was brown, the 246 was Marrone Mettalazato (sp!) which was a stock Dino/Ferrari color in the 70’s. I can remember the dealer I worked for having cars in stock that color. Personally I think it is superb especially with the off white “sabbia” interior.

Another beautiful Sports Racer….

12 years living in Europe and that is the one event that I always wanted to go to but somehow never managed.

Great photos!

I was banned, something about asking stellantissss if they were ever going to do anything other than showcase cars from the 70/80s
