Just Another FIAT Freak
Here's my current Fiat, and with luck I will be adding an X1/9 next to it in my parking stall...

Nice!

The more I see them in rosso/red, the more I question my choice of grey... I'm on my 4th X1/9 - first new car I ever bought was a '74 - and I predict you will enjoy the '78, if it's in good enough shape to buy...

It was good enough and i made the buy.... I'm a happy camper with the purchase so far. Thanks for the kind words everyone.

Very nice. The horns/tail are a nice touch.

I saw this 500 at Laguna Seca historics yesterday:

Interesting rally light addition. I DO like the rims. I will be getting the same for my 500.

yep, the rotas look so period correct on the retro styled 500... if you like the spots mounted on a 500, heres a fellow 500owners forum member that put 4 of them on his car (thats my former 500 Pop to the left of his)

Those light mount points look more "rally" style for sure. Was that a kit they bought or was it fabricated to fit?

I believe Tom fabbed them up, most all of the stuff he did was home brewed, like custom seat brackets for race seats and a 4 point belt, and a butterfly valve actuated ram air on his hood

took some new pics today on old route 66 out in the eastern Calif desert... my little red devil turned in almost 38mpg for the 500 mile round trip.

Lowering springs or is it just loaded with luggage we can't see?

Looks great!
