Protecting Us From Danger

I had to remove the gas tank from my 1554 Cub Cadet garden tractor/mower.
I was able to retrieve my 3 lost nozzles from the "Safety Gas Cans" that I am more or less forced to use. Of course, I had already thrown the nozzleless cans out (at about $20 each). It's wonderful being so protected.

I'm too A.D.D. to wait for them to fill a tank so I typically remove those nozzles and fabricate a replacement that actually allows fuel to flow through it. ;)

There's a new style can that actually has a handle in the "back" of the can that allows you to support the weight of the gas and place the outlet on the rim of the filler neck (at least the 3" dia. one on my "GT" lawn mower) and then push a button to allow gas flow. Not perfect but much better than the one hand pushing in the nozzle while the other has to support the 5 gallons of gas without a handle.
