Too bad about the bits of rust I'm seeing, but otherwise the car looks like a steal for $6k. Monte bumpers and lights (together, at least $2k in parts if you can find them, plus the hassle of fabrication to fit). Is that a dual master cylinder setup in the frunk? Top looks recent, the power windows are slightly rare (especially in an earlier car) and it has the rare 3-pipe ANSA system (ha!) with header.

Biggest issue I see is that it'll still need an engine rebuild before it's making Montecarlo power, but that's fixable in time. Drive it while you ponder the possibilities. I even like the black/gold paint scheme. Add another $4k in some rust repair and various odds and ends, and you've got a pretty darn good car for $10k.
