Some joker was in his new Bimmer convertable today. First he couldn't shift. Next he couldn't do the speed limit, less go over it. A parade starts behind him. A Buick with a passed him, and a a GEO as well. It was my turn and I launched it. An anal 30's something couple in it thinking that they are hot shift in it. Suprised that the top was down. It's really sad these people who purchase cars like this and just don't know rule 1 about driving it. In Ohio I would blow doors off 308's in corners. How sad.

There should be no reason I should be pulling away from 308's, Testarossas or Ruf twin turbos in the hills and curves like I did. Once in a while there'd be someone cool enough to put me in my place, but most of the time it was weenie driving. I've driven many of those same exotics, and I'll be the first to admit, the lead in my foot fills up and I push the car as much as it will take. One reason I got rid of the Porsche. But that's why you buy it isn't it??? Too bad for most it's for show.
That Bimmer I saw today reminded me of all the wasted machines out there. If ya ain't gonna know how to use it, don't drive it.
This goes along with all those convertables with the tops on in beautiful weather. Chrysler Sebrings are the main culprit out here. We have to get out of the car to throw the top off. They have a button and "whoomp!". Is that too difficult?
That's the thing I like about the X and the drivers. It's a real sports car that's driven by people who know how to drive. And have fun doing it.

My cars are always washed, waxed, and clean, inside and out. I have a couple of friends with nice cars and they never wash them by hand.
