Good times. The weather corrected itself by noon. I had a blast in the Fiat 500. There's a lot there to like. So when's the next outing....?

JJ, How about

"Runnin Down A Dream" by Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers. At least the title is appropriate.

Wil, Bob, Ricardo, JJ,

Great pix to memorialize a great day. The weather cooperated and I'm glad everyone had a good time. I'm glad it cleared up enough to see Catalina Island and to take in the great views around PV.

Special thanks to Ed for the T shirts and to Papa Tony for ideas in the planning and helping me work the two grills, which saved a lot of running back and forth.

I don't have the technical know-how many/most of you have here, so this was my way of giving something back, if only for our group. I studied hotel administration in school, so I do know something about cooking. Then again, it's hard to screw up a BBQ unless you burn everything.

We need to have everyone think of ideas for other interesting routes for a group drive. It would be nice to do a drive 3-4 times a year.

Thanks to everyone who showed up to make it a great day.
Mike

Looks like all had a wonderful time.

One of these days, I would like to meet all these SoCal X folks.

Ryan, some other great pix.

At the Wayfarers Chapel, I think those 2 wild and crazy young punks in the first photo need to be carded. Thanks also for the last photo at the BBQ with Celia next to me while pulling names out of the hat. That classy, Brazilian lady has put up with me for over 31 years now, and I think Sunday finally led her to begin to understand the love we have for our X's and what a class group of people we are who go against the flow and own them.
