Stupid present owner syndrome...

After all my hydraulic work I was annoyed at a rattle in the steering column. Didn't notice it before and couldn't figure out what I had done. While installing my stereo (yay tunes!) I noticed one of the column pinch clamps was loose. I loosened it in preparation for removing the column, then just laid it aside instead. Forgot to tighten it up. :dunce:

What is important is that you found what was wrong. And the lesson learned.
And your humillity to share this with others. It says a lot of good about you.

Dumb things...

I never do dumb things like that...

My specialties are finding parts left over after I have buttoned everything up... and not knowing there are access panels that EASE the maintenance on these cars after owning one and struggling for 15 years!

You ain't got nothing on me in this arena! HA!

Yes my cars have been suffering from POS (Present Owner Syndrome) for all the years I have owned them. A few of my friends cars suffer from the same malady.

Someday they may be cured of POS but often the remission state is NOS (New Owner Syndrome) and the ever dismaying PO (Previous Owner) problem for the NO (New Owner).

As for SPO, I have been that more times than I care to count much less admit to...
