So, I was troubleshooting a faulty right rear turn signal issue and took apart the tail light assy. I'm not sure what they were "sealed" with but what ever it was crumbled in my hand. It also seems that what ever should have been there is non existent, so my question is, what is everybody using? Matt says it was originally some sort of felt material, so I'm considering going to the local Michael and get some felt rope. Another idea is to clean it up, lay a nice bead of clear silicon and let it dry, then fit the lens.
