This show was held on campus in front of the Center for Automotive Research, home of 6 different student engineering projects, all very accomplished, with 3 #1 projects, 2 in the USA and 1 in the world. Post Front.jpg

My X1/9 was parked amidst a 1963 TRS, nice Porsche, new ZL1 Camaro, Lamborghini Huracan, 2018 Corvette Stingray - one of the first 2018s produced, and an older Vette. 2,000HP amongst them, X not counting for many. The 1st OSU student project below has 3,000HP. Camaro was Best Muscle Car, Huracan was Best Exotic, and surprise - X1/9 was Best Import. Post Ribbon.jpg

1) Venturi Buckeye Bullet 3 - 3,000 HP and holds land speed record of 341.264 mph for an electric vehicle. Post Bullet.jpg The vehicle was in Utah at the Bonneville Salt Flats attempting to break 400 mph this year, but the rains came after an early practice run.

2) Buckeye Current - winner of 2017 Pikes Peak Hill Climb for an electric motorcycle, 28th place overall. Averaged 65.9 mph, fastest non-electric motorcycle was 73.2 mph. Post Current.jpg They also have run in the Isle of Man TT Zero Race.
