Unusual Garage; Feedback Requested

I'll keep this short but change of plans. What initially was holding me back from building a nice garage on the house was a 20' minimum no-build law from the lot line. I have to check with the county but the previous owner said the old shed attached to the house is grandfathered. It's still a pretty relaxed county on this type of thing and hopefully they'll let me "enlarge" the shed a bit. If that's the case, only the office will be moved to the storage building. Not using up two rental spaces ($2400.00 a year) for the garage/shop will also help pay for the house garage and increase the value of the house so, win win.

If it's a go, I'll probably go 12'- 14' wide and add a lower shed to that, which would hold the shop portion. Start at a 20' depth with the ability to deepen to the rear. Obviously not to scale. Wooden fence is 6'.
