Vick’s seat upholstery

just wondering how to tell if these will fit my seats. I got replacement seats from Matt a couple of years ago i’ve been using. My X is a ‘78 and I thought ‘79 on were different, but then recently I saw an ad saying ‘79 to’81 would fit my car as well, so I don’t truly know what year my seats are?? The Vick’s ad says ‘79 to ‘88 and the price is right!!! Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

I believe the 79-81 comment probably refers to ths seat tracks. The tracks were welded to the floor thru 81 or 82.

The seat cushions and covers are basically the same from 79-88. I put the Vick's upholstery in my 85 and it fit well.

When Bertone took over in 82 or 83, the tracks were switched to bolt in. I could be off a year on the tracks.

Is the difference the shape of the head rest? I think my originals were more dome shaped and my replacements are more squared? If that makes sense??

Those are late 84 thru 88 seats.
