Spent a little quality time with my Scorpion today getting ready for the FEN All-Italian car show next weekend.
I think I found a nice match for the creamy white paint in a spray can, and used it for chip touch-up today. Wow, once you start dabbing at those chips the car really starts to look good.
Also repainted the nose panel, I could see some red primer underneath my previous work. Hopefully this week I'll have time to repaint the driver's door and surrounding area with the new color. We'll see.
I also found a transparent black spray paint at a local art store that might work great on the black anodized trim that is now pale purple in some places.
I spent most of yesterday moving boxes of parts, now I have them segregated as to model; Scorpion parts on one wall with most of my tools and chemicals, and Vanagon parts on another wall. Sorted through some boxes and posted some parts for sale/free. Hung some exhaust stuff on the wall and ceiling.
